At SkogsVatten, we offer tailored experiences that cater to every individual. We are passionate about creating an environment where both humans and horses thrive.

Whether you are new to horses or seeking to hone your existing horsemanship skills, looking to problem solve a horse behaviour or health issue, or to simply enjoy the beauty of our equine trails & park, we are delighted to offer our facilities and expertise.

With a tried and true approach to helping learners achieve their goals in a safe & relaxed environment we support students to find in themselves more than they ever thought possible.

Our approach to equine care and training is deeply rooted in respect and understanding of these magnificent creatures. We employ the principles of force free, positive reinforcement training by using equine behavioural science across all our horse interactions.

For the human learner we offer a variety of programmes designed to cater for the individual needs of the human and horse partnership, whether with our herd or your own horse.

Our tranquil rain forest setting provides the perfect backdrop for learning and growth, allowing both horses and humans to flourish together. Experience the peace and serenity of our farm and the joy of spending precious time with your equine companion.

Building skills and confidence for new prospective horse owners, adults returning to horses & those who simply need horses in their lives.

Horsing byDesign is bespoke for each student, meeting you where you are and taking you where you want to go.

Choose from a selection of 8 modules focusing on the areas of most interest from groundwork to trick training; equine nutrition to trail riding, you lead the way. Our horses make a willing partner for your learning, or you can bring your own.

SkogsVatten Equine Park

SkogsVatten farm equine facilities are continually developing, from a purpose built training corral, day yards, all weather tracks, and forest trails to off-grid camping sites for overnight stays and retreats.

Over the next wee while we will be expanding our offering to include a full sized arena and pony playground for Horse Agility and Cowboy Challenge.

Our course wends its way through forests slaloms, pasture challenges, and stream crossings, with plenty of space for a full speed finish for those who are keen.

Equine Training, Problem Solving, Rehab & Holiday Park

Horse ownership comes with its fair share of challenges, and at SkogsVatten we have the experience and dedication to help.

Nutritional issues, hoof trouble or behavioural and training problems, we will help you find a way through without fear or stress for you or your horse.

We can also offer full agistment with daily training while working towards a solution, or even when you need a loving holiday home for your equine partner while you are away.
